由張金星理事長擔任籌備委員會召集人、李亞俐擔任執行長、副執行長李敦朗、秘書長為蕭國棟。首次出版「中華民國畫廊博覽會專輯」，共計 56 家國內畫廊參展，開啟畫廊協會舉辦藝術博覽會的新紀元。第一屆中華民國畫廊博覽會的成功舉辦，具有兩項重大意義，一是台灣藝術市場轉趨成熟的契機，不論在格局上或實質層面來說，都是宏觀並且超前的；二是中華民國畫廊博覽會提供台灣收藏家、企業藝術主管、畫廊業者和廣大民眾，有一個在短時間得以一覽藝術發展全貌的絕佳機會。
The chairman of the Taiwan Art Gallery Association (TAGA), Zhang Jinxing served as the convener of the preparatory committee, with Li Yali as the executive director, Li Dunlang as the deputy executive director, and Xiao Guodong as the secretary-general. The primary edition of the "Art Galleries Fair R. O. C. Compilation" was published, with a total of 56 domestic galleries participating, marking a new era for the Gallery Association (TAGA) in organizing art fairs. The successful hosting of the first ART GALLERIES FAIR R.O.C. had two significant meanings. Firstly, it provided an opportunity for the Taiwanese art market to mature, both in terms of its structure and substance, demonstrating a macro and forward-looking approach. Secondly, the ART GALLERIES FAIR R.O.C. provided Taiwanese collectors, corporate art directors, gallery operators, and the general public with an excellent opportunity to have a comprehensive view of art development in a short period of time.
