2017 年 ART TAIPEI 由理事長鍾經新掌舵,秘書長為游文玫。大會主題為「私人美術館的崛起」,以「學術先行、市場在後」的理念塑 造 ART TAIPEI。台灣 69 家、國際 54 家展商參展,大會呼應重視台灣藝術史,特別規劃「世紀先鋒—台灣現代繪畫群像展」。在展場工程創新方面,本屆展會燈光設備全面提升,畫廊協會自製自購燈具、燈臂計畫,採行環保永續的 LED 燈設計,呈現綠色會展精神。ART TAIPEI 2017 籌畫了 1 天半的貴賓預展、2 天國際論壇、3 場記者會、4 天公眾展期、4 場特展、5 場藝術講座、5 場派對活動、7 場藏家活動、11 場藝術沙龍、14 場貴賓導覽、15 場大眾導覽,更有 97 位工讀生、123 間展商、562 位偏鄉學童參與「藝術教育日」活動,展場使用 2,842 盞燈具、超過 3,300 塊展板,每個數字背後都代表了畫廊協會、參加展商與合作伙伴的努力。

In 2017, ART TAIPEI was led by the chairman of TAGA Zhong Jingxin, with You Wenmei serving as the secretary-general. The central theme of the exposition was titled "The Rise of Private Art Museums," with the concept of prioritizing "Academic First, Market Second,” defining the essence of ART TAIPEI. With 69 Taiwanese and 54 international exhibitors participating, the event highlighted the significance of Taiwanese art history through the special curation of the “Century Pioneers - Taiwanese Modern Painting Group Exhibition." In terms of innovative exhibition infrastructure, this year’s exhibition made comprehensive improvements to its lighting equipment. The Gallery Association (TAGA) produced and purchased lighting fixtures and arms as part of a sustainable environmental initiative, featuring LED lighting designs to embody the spirit of green exhibitions. ART TAIPEI 2017 showcased a 1.5-day VIP preview, a 2-day international forum, 3 press conferences, a 4-day public exhibition period, 4 special exhibitions, 5 art lectures, 5 party events, 7 collector activities, 11 art salons, 14 VIP tours, and 15 public tours. Additionally, 97 part-time employees, 123 exhibitors, and 562 rural school children participated in the "Art Education Day" activities. The exhibition venue utilized 2,842 lighting fixtures and over 3,300 display panels. Each of these numbers represents the collective efforts of the Gallery Association (TAGA), participating exhibitors, and partners.
